FAQ

Is Manimu jewellery handmade?

  • Manimu specialises in handmade pearl jewellery, designed and assembled in small batches in the UK.
  • Alongside this, Manimu also offers selected design-led non-pearl jewellery, created to our own designs.

Are pearls all the same? Will my piece look exactly like the photos?

No. Freshwater pearls naturally vary in shape, surface, and tone, which is part of their beauty.

Product images on our website are for reference only. While we carefully select high-quality pearls for every piece, slight variations are normal and expected. Each piece is unique and may not look identical to the images shown.

Can I wear my jewellery every day?

  • Stainless steel jewellery is suitable for regular wear.
  • Pearl jewellery should be worn with care to protect its natural surface.

Is Manimu jewellery hard-wearing?

  • Pearl jewellery is delicate by nature and requires gentle handling.
  • Stainless steel jewellery is more durable than pearls, but all jewellery should be worn and handled with care.

Adjustable rings - ! important

Adjustable rings should be gently adjusted once to fit your finger and then left in place.

Repeated adjusting can:

  • Weaken the metal
  • Alter the position of pearls or gemstones
  • Cause stones to loosen or fall out
  • Lead to breakage, especially with silver-based materials

Damage caused by repeated adjustment is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of our products, returns and exchanges are limited.

  • Earrings are non-returnable and non-exchangeable for hygiene reasons.
  • Gold-plated jewellery is non returnable, as we cannot determine how an item has been worn or cared for once received.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery, and we will be happy to review the matter.

Where a return or exchange is approved:

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs
  • For exchanges, customers are responsible for both return and re-delivery postage

We kindly ask customers to read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Each returned item cannot be resold and must be responsibly disposed of, which creates significant cost for a small business. We truly appreciate thoughtful purchasing decisions.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
